One of the leading global battery manufactures G S Yuasa makes its foray into Bangladeshi market with its automotive advance technology battery.
Bangladeshi joint venture company Japan Solartech (Bangladesh) Ltd is ready to manufacture and market ‘Yuasa’ branded automotive batteries from January next, officials Saturday at a press meet held at a city hotel said. The second largest battery manufactures in the world, Japan based G S Yuasa has been supplying original equipments for manufacturing (OE) to Japan Solartech BD under a technical service agreement (TSA). It is the first time that GS Yuasa has made TSA with any company of any country, top ranked officials of G S Yuasa and Japan Solartech said. Japan Solartech (BD) Ltd already invested US $1.5 million and set up a plant at Chittagong. Riku Imai, a manager of international business unit of GS Yuasa said that the global automobile sale has gradually been increasing and the growth is outstanding in Asia.-
