The militant group, Islamic State (IS), claimed the credit for the suicide bombing at an Ahmadiyya Muslim mosque in Rajshahi district in the country on Saturday.

The US-based SITE Intelligence Group, has confirmed this tonight.

Earlier the youth who was died in the yesterday’s bomb attack on a mosque of Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Bagmara of Rajshahi was the attacker, doctors who conducted autopsy have confirmed.

After conducting the autopsy on Saturday noon, Md. Enamul Haque, a lecturer of the Department of Forensic of Rajshahi Medical Collage and Hospital, confirmed Samakal that 'the dead youth was the bomb attacker.'

He said there was clear evidence that the dead youth was the one carrying the bomb.

The bomb was come near his abdominal and four splinters were found inside his lever which proves that the bomb was on his possession and he was died after being hit by it, he said.

Yesterday, during the simultaneous celebration of Christmas and Eid-e-Miladunnabi, a ‘suicide blast’ (according to police) in the Ahmadiyya mosque killed the suspected attacker and injured 10/12 others in Rajshahi’s Bagmara.
